CHIA is returning to Creel, Mexico, to serve the Tarahumara people through our partnership with First Baptist Church of Creel. The team will engage in light construction on a church building in a Tarahumara community, with this year’s primary project focused on building bathrooms for the church. We will also distribute clean water systems to families in the surrounding area.

Creel is located in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara mountains and is just a short drive from Copper Canyon, the largest canyon in North America. Team members should be prepared to participate in evangelism, distribute water filters, and assist with light physical labor as part of the construction efforts.

Usual Cost: $450 USD, plus personal travel to El Paso, TX (meet-up city).
