CHIA recently implemented a program called “Prayer Warriors”. The program is simple but needed and very effective. Each person that goes on a CHIA trip is asked to get 5 or more Prayer Warriors for themselves. These Prayer Warriors are asked to pray for their missionary friend throughout the mission trip. The Prayer Warriors are given an itinerary and prayer needs for the each mission.
Additionally, the Prayer Warriors are sent DAILY emails with updates on how the trip is coming along. Within each email there is a link to a website/blog that has a recap of the day along with recent pictures and videos of the people they are praying for.
